Cobalt No. 17

Cobalt No. 17 is a one-of-a-kind ceramic vessel shaped by hand using my soft clay body, allowing the form to feel fluid, balanced, and confidently resolved.

The silhouette is classic and familiar — a shape that has become part of my visual language. Its proportions are calm and universal, with a smaller, more restrained lip that gives the piece a quiet sense of refinement and completion.

There is an ease to this vessel that makes it endlessly versatile. It feels timeless and grounded, able to sit naturally in any space while carrying a strong sense of identity and intention.

Finished in a deep matte cobalt blue, the surface carries depth rather than shine. Light moves gently across the form, highlighting the purity of the shape and the subtle variations created through hand-building.
