Cobalt No. 10

Cobalt No. 10 is a one-of-a-kind ceramic vessel shaped by hand using my soft clay body, allowing the form to feel fluid, balanced, and resolved.

The silhouette is classic and harmonious, with a gently undulating lip that brings a soft rhythm to the form. The movement at the top creates a natural cadence, giving the piece a sense of flow and quiet continuity.

There is an ease to this vessel — a feeling of balance and steady presence. The proportions feel settled and calm, allowing the form to exist without tension, held together by subtle movement rather than contrast.

Finished in a deep matte cobalt blue, the surface carries depth rather than shine. Light moves smoothly across the curves, accentuating the gentle undulation and reinforcing the sense of harmony throughout the piece.
