It’s not just about making a finished piece — it’s about how fun, grounding, and surprisingly freeing it feels to shape something from clay, right from home.

Starting ceramics can feel confusing — but it doesn’t have to.

Still Have a Question?

Totally get it — here’s the part where most people go, “Okay wait, I just have one more question…”

Here are the most common ones I get:

Do I need a kiln to start?
Not right away. I’ll show you how to get started making pieces without needing your own kiln. You can easily find a local studio or ceramic supplier that offers firing services — I’ll explain exactly how to do that.

Do I need a wheel?
Nope. This course is all about handbuilding — using your hands, a few simple tools, and basic techniques like pinch, coil, and slab. No wheel required, ever.

What kind of space do I need?
If you’ve got a table, you’re good. You don’t need a full studio — just a small surface you can set up and pack down when needed. I started on my kitchen table. I’ll walk you through how to set up a little ceramic corner at home.

Do I need special tools?
Not at all. You can start with just a couple of basic tools — even one is enough. I’ll show you my full list (including some clever household items you probably already have) and share links with discounts too.

Is this for total beginners?
Yes! This course was made with beginners in mind. We’ll start with simple, satisfying projects like trays and plates, then build up to more complex pieces as your confidence grows.

Can I still do it if I use a shared studio?
Absolutely. This workshop is designed to be flexible — perfect for home setups or shared spaces. You don’t need a private studio to get great results.

What if I’ve never touched clay before?
That’s perfect. You’ll be guided from the very beginning, with no jargon or overwhelm. You’ll learn how to work with clay in a way that feels fun, natural, and totally achievable.

Still unsure?
That’s totally fine. If you’ve got a question that’s not covered here or just want to chat before joining, DM me on Instagram or shoot me an email. No pressure — just honest answers and good vibes.
